Hackney Showroom

Hackney Showroom is an industrial warehouse space and theatre, set in a 4,000 sq ft former print works at Hackney Downs Studios. Enriching the cultural lives of residents of Hackney and beyond, they seek out partnerships with the very best artists and companies and present brave new work for the stage.

Since 2013 they have been working behind the scenes at Hackney Downs Studios to establish a theatre on site and to date have presented work by The Big House, Complicite, Paines Plough, Living Structures, LIFT and others.

The new venue has been designed by Citizens Design Bureau and is home to a large performance space and a smaller studio theatre.

Hackney Showroom was established in 2014 by New Future Collective – a creative and cultural organisation based in Hackney.

PF Events have a venue partnership with Hackney Showroom and provide offsite technical consultancy and equipment hire and design for their clients who are holding events at the venue.

A great big blank canvas with limitless potential awaits your ideas. They’ve hosted weddings, fashion shows, festivals, music videos and photo shoots. Pictures of all of their spaces are available here and you can download their floor plan here.
